国際キャリア学科（ICD）の英語科目は定期的に実施するテストに基づき、習熟度ごとにクラスを編成しています。カリキュラムは英語力をスキル別に高め、総合的に伸ばすことを目的に編成されており、授業の多くは米国、英国、カナダなど英語圏出身のネイティブの教員が担当しています。
国際キャリア学科（ICD）では、こうしたネイティブ教員による英語教育の一環として、「Test Taking Skillsー前期集中講座」を１年生向けに開講しました。習熟度に従って２つのクラスに分かれた受講生は、８月の１週間、集中的にTOEIC®対策の授業を受けました。以下は、本講座を担当したダーシー・デリント先生（Mr. Darcy De Lint、カナダ出身)による授業紹介です。
「Test Taking Skills」（Darcy De Lint)
This is a four and a half hour a day course that meets five times over two weeks aimed at improving students’ ability to prepare for and deal with language tests. Because there is so much class time in a day it is important that we have a lot of variety in our activities and have some room to breathe. So, we meet in a combined CALL 3 and 4 room with plenty of space and air. Students also do individual, pair, small group, and large group activities to have a chance to share knowledge and challenge each other to study more.
