以下は、国際ビジネスにおいて必要不可欠な英語でのコミュニケーション能力の向上を目指す「Business Communication」を担当しているトロイ・ドーセット先生（Mr.Troy Doucette、アメリカ出身）による授業紹介です。
「Business Communication」（Troy Doucette）
In order to be ready to use English in the workplace, students need to be exposed to a variety of business workplace situations and build confidence in using English communicatively for work. This class introduces students to situations such as making and answering business telephone calls, introducing oneself, apologizing, describing products or services and more and allows them to develop their writing, speaking and listening skills in a progressive and connected manner. Topics and situations are linked to each other allowing students to practice their skills continuously over the semester. Key conversation strategies are also practiced allowing students to manage conversations in international business settings.
This class uses individual, pair and group work to introduce business English in an interesting and understandable manner to students who have little to no business experience. Practicing these skills and developing the confidence to use them can truly open up a world of opportunity !

In the "Business Communication" course, you can learn versatile English skills that are useful in a business context. By regularly learning formal expressions that differ from the casual ones I usually use, I can take my English to the next level. The course not only teaches formal expressions and grammar but also covers business etiquette and differences between business practices in Japan and English-speaking countries. Through class activities and assignments, I have ample opportunities to practice new expressions, ensuring that I can truly make them my own.
