講義内容：最近、国際情勢が不安定ですね。それに生成AIの登場で「もう英語を勉強する時代は終わった」などという発言もあるようです。こうした根拠のない言説に惑わされていたら将来不幸な結果を招くでしょう。生成AI時代だからこそ、AIを使いこなせる「英語力」が必要です。永遠に続く戦争はありません。世の中が安定して慌てて英語を勉強するのでなく、今のうちに準備をしておくことが成功の秘訣です。短い講義ですが、どうしたらよいのか一緒に考えてみましょう。

In recent years, the international situation has become increasingly unstable. At the same time, with the rise of generative AI, some people have begun to claim that “the age of learning English is over.” However, being misled by such unfounded arguments could lead to negative consequences in the future. Precisely because we are now in the age of AI, strong English skills are essential for using these technologies effectively. No war lasts forever. Rather than rushing to study English only after the world stabilizes, the key to success is to prepare in advance. Although this will be a short lecture, we will think together about what we can do now.
