那珂川市イングリッシュデイ（二日間）をサポートして
1日目 – 土曜日
初日は、ベトナム出身の学生2名とスリランカ出身の学生1名の計3名が参加しました。英語の先生方は、アイルランド、イギリス、アメリカ、ニュージーランド、フィリピン、日本出身で、楽しくインタラクティブな英語アクティビティを行いました。
本学の学生たちは、子どもたちが安心して楽しめるよう、笑顔と情熱でサポートし、温かく活気ある雰囲気づくりに貢献しました。
2日目 – 日曜日
日曜日は午前と午後の2セッションが行われ、タイ、日本、ベトナム、中国出身の学生4名が参加しました。英語の先生方は前日と同じメンバーで、学生たちは元気いっぱいに活動を支えました。
終日エネルギーに満ちた雰囲気の中で、学生たちは積極的に関わり、子どもたちの笑顔を引き出しながら、良きロールモデルとして活躍しました。
感謝と振り返り
このような素晴らしい機会を提供してくださった那珂川市の皆さま、先生方、そして関係者の皆さまに心より感謝申し上げます。学生たちにとって、英語力とコミュニケーション力を活かして地域とつながる大変貴重な経験となりました。
今回参加してくれた7名の学生たちを心から誇りに思います。今後もこのような地域連携の活動を通じて、学生の成長を応援していきたいと思います。
Two Days of Language, Laughter, and Learning
Supporting Nakagawa City English Day
Day 1 – Saturday
On Saturday, three of our students — two from Vietnam and one from Sri Lanka — joined a team of local English teachers from Ireland, England, America, New Zealand, the Philippines, and Japan. Together, they led fun and interactive English activities designed to encourage communication and build confidence among the young participants.
Our students supported the children with care, enthusiasm, and smiles, helping create a lively and welcoming atmosphere from start to finish.
Day 2 – Sunday
Sunday featured two full sessions — one in the morning and one in the afternoon — and welcomed four more of our students, representing Thailand, Japan, Vietnam, and China. Once again, the same outstanding team of local English teachers guided the sessions, and our students stepped in as enthusiastic helpers and positive role models for the young learners.
The energy was high throughout the day, and our students helped create a fun and supportive learning environment for everyone involved.
Gratitude and Reflection
We extend our sincere thanks to Nakagawa City, the event organizers, and the local teachers for warmly welcoming our students and creating a meaningful experience for all participants. This event was not only a great opportunity for children in Nakagawa to practice English, but also a meaningful chance for our students to engage with the local community, use their communication skills, and represent our college with pride.
We are incredibly proud of all seven students who volunteered and look forward to more opportunities like this in the future!
