EAGL Employment News! (by Dr Doyle)

国際英語学科にはアイルランド出身の教師がいます。その名も Dr Doyle。どこかで聞いたことがある名前でしょうか。そう、スコットランド出身の医師で作家の Conan Doyle、Sherlock Holmesの著者と同じ名前です。そういえば、日本にも「名探偵コナン」がいますね。国際英語学科の Dr Doyle は、大変熱心な英語教師で、ブログにも英語でたびたび登場します。平易な英語で書かれていますので、是非ご一読ください。今回は、学科の就職状況に触れています。パンデミックが終わり、航空関係、ホテル・旅行関係の分野が完全に回復してきました。教員採用状況も好調です。これから、英語、日本語で就職状況をお伝えしていきます。

As everyone knows, our seniors are now in the middle of the job-hunting season. So, from now we will be getting news from our students about which jobs they are getting.

This week we had some great news on the job scene. As we all know, EAGL has a long and successful history of our students finding jobs in the Airline industry and we had 2 students report that they had been offered jobs in the Airline industry! So, we would like to wish these students a very happy Bon Voyage!

In addition, another couple of students also reported that they had been successful in their job-hunting efforts. One student reported that they had been offered a job in the automobile industry! As we all know, the car industry in Japan is an extremely important industry, not only domestically but also internationally. Another student also reported that they had been offered a job at one of the electrical appliance makers in Japan. So, we would like to say to these students, Bonne Chance!

On top of this, we also had another Report that they have passed the teacher employment test for Fukuoka city. What a great achievement! So, we would like to say to this student, C’est super!

So, once again congratulations to these students for now and we hope to get more good news over the coming months!
