This post introduces Trevor Holster, a new teacher this year at Fukuoka Jo Gakuin Junior College. Trevor has a lot of experience teaching at the university level, for example, he has taught at Fukuoka University, Kyushu University, and Fukuoka Women's University among others. His applied linguistics research is known internationally through his publications in international research journals. He has spoken at academic conferences all over Japan and internationally, for example: Malaysia, China, Singapore, Taiwan, and the Netherlands. His research has focused on reading, vocabulary, and language assessment using Rasch analysis.
