今年度から国際キャリア学科（ICD）にイアン・エドワード・ケニオン先生（英国出身）とグレゴリー・オキーフ先生（米国出身）のお二人が常勤の教員として着任されました。ケニオン先生は「Business Reading」 「Communication Skills」などの英語・コミュニケーション科目を、オキーフ先生は「国際協力研究」「Japan Studies」などの国際協力・地域研究科目を担当されます。

Dear Students,
My name is Greg O’Keefe. I am originally from Boston and moved to Japan 23 years ago. I have enjoyed learning Japanese and kendo over the years. I also have produced two short documentaries as well as over 90 videos. In 2017, I received my PhD from Kyushu University in Sociology. My research focused on the integration and identity formation of western foreigners within the Japanese construct.

2020 has already presented challenges to all the students before some have even formally entered the gates of Fukuoka Jogakuin University. We cannot choose the challenges we are presented with but we can choose how we act to overcome them. This way we can evolve into people who knows how to adapt and learn to be stronger in spite of unforeseen challenges. Never give up and always look forward. The present is offering us such challenges but the future still holds hope.
