Liverpoolに行ってきました。
Liverpoolといえば THE BEATLES！天気も良くて景色がとっても素敵でした。街にはBEATLESの曲が沢山流れていたり、すれ違う人がBEATLES TシャツをきていたりBEATLESで溢れていました。50年も前のグループなのに時代を超えて今なお愛されてることに驚きと感動！！THE BEATLES statueの周りには多くの人だかりが、、今も愛されている証拠ですね〜
「ポップカルチャーE」の講義で沢山THE BEATLESを学んだので、この街をより楽しむことが出来たと思います！ありがとうございます。

言語芸術学科の学生が現在勉強しているManchester Language SchoolのJudith先生から引率の上村先生にコメントが届きました。授業を担当してくださっている現地の先生方は、順応がはやく行動力のある今年度の学生を、これまでの学生以上に高く評価してくださっているようです。
The teachers have asked me to let you know how impressed they have been by the students’ attitude and feedback so far. They have settled quickly into their homestays and coped extremely well with the travel arrangements to and fro. As you know these have been very complicated because of local road works and have changed from day to day.
The arrangements the students had made for their free weekend worked perfectly and the teachers were delighted with the perspicacity of their comments in the classroom this morning. They are clearly processing every aspect of their experiences in the UK and already beginning to reflect and analyse.
Year on year we have noticed an incremental increase in their language skills due I’m sure to excellent reaching but also to widening use of the internet but we have never had a group with such confidence so early in the course.
