On 19th, I visited Dazaifu. It’s an English class. We were met by a friend of the teacher of those students. She walked around giving us a tour of Dazaifu and explaining all the important historical meanings being each building and the culture behind them. It was very beautiful and historical. It’s amazing learning about all the Japanese culture and customs involved when visiting shrines and temples in Japan.
On 20th, I took a day trip and was accompanied by Mr. Brajcich. It was very eventful and informative. We visited the castle where we read about Hiroshima and what all Belinda there today. Then we visited a Japanese style restaurant which followed with Peace park and the Bomb museum. Peace park was absolutely beautiful and so was the city. Reading about the history of Hiroshima was very sad and really made you think about what happened on that day. Hiroshima is such a booming and vibrant city today.
The weekend was filled with adventure and experience. Thank you so much for allowing me to take these two trips with the school and learn about some of the amazing wonders and history of Japan.
