国際キャリア学科の英語科目は定期的に実施するテストに基づき、レベルごとにクラスを編成しています。カリキュラムは英語力をスキル別に高め、総合的に伸ばすことを目的に編成されており、授業の多くは英語圏のネイティブの教員が担当しています。以下は１年生前期科目の「Communication Skills I」を担当しているPaul Shimizu 先生（英国出身)による授業紹介です。 

授業紹介：Communication Skills I（Paul Shimizu 先生）

My basic aim in all my teaching is to build a comfortable, enjoyable and working relationship with my students. The emphasis being on ‘enjoyable’, since true education cannot take place in an atmosphere, which is not enjoyable. What does that mean from my perspective? It means that my students are human beings as I am and that we are all equal in the classroom (as we are outside the classroom).

The ‘live’ human face is the most complex image to behold. So my classes emphasis face to face communication in a friendly and enjoyable way.

Everyone in a classroom is both a student and a teacher, including the ‘teacher’.
