The Department of International Career Department (ICD) holds events regularly to foster students’ teamwork spirit and help sharpen their communication competence such as leadership. The annual sports festival is one of them.

On July1st after the TOEIC IP test, ICD had its second sports festival. Different from the first time which took place last year, this time the students took complete charge in the process of planning, negotiating, decision making, preparing for everything such as prizes and the venue, cleaning up, reflection as well as many other relevant chores. Although the weather was hot, the students showed even hotter enthusiasm and had a very competitive but friendly time together which has undoubtedly enforced the teamwork and synergy among all participants.

K.Tさん（４年、聖和女子学院高等学校出身）

学年の垣根を超え、一致団結できた運動会だったと感じています。決勝戦では、円陣をつくり盛り上がっている姿を見て、観戦側も興奮して応援しました。運動会を通し先生方や後輩との繋がりを深めることができました。

K.Aさん（３年、大分県立日田三隈高等学校出身）

今回で二度目の運動会でしたが、前年度よりも参加者が多く、活気がある楽しい運動会になりました。実行委員長として実行委員や参加者をまとめることや状況を逐一把握し、その場にあった正しい判断をすることなど、とても大変でしたが、リーダーシップ力を身につけるよい機会でした。来年はより素晴らしい運動会になるよう、後輩達に受け継いでもらいたいと思います！ 

M.Yさん（２年、福岡県立伝習館高等学校出身）

運動会実行委員として、大学に入って初めて人を動かすことの大変さを知りました。後輩、先輩や同級生の力を借りて、実行し、「楽しかったよ！」と言ってもらえてよかったです。とてもいい経験ができました。

T.Fさん（１年、福岡県立鞍手高等学校出身）

今回の運動会で前もって準備することの難しさと大切さを学びました。実際に運動会をやってみて、自分自身とても楽しめました。また、先輩やたくさんの人と協力して運動会を成功させるという同じ目標に向かって頑張る良い経験ができました。
