国際キャリア学科2年生を対象とする「Reading and WritingⅢ」では、様々なタイプのパラグラフの書き方を学びます。授業は最初に、Japan Timesから選んだ記事について担当者がレポートすることから始めます。その後はテキストに沿いながら、単元ごとに異なるタイプのパラグラフを学習しますが、同時に英語を書く上で必要な文法や句読法についても復習します。
学期最後にはプロジェクトとして、映画「リトル・ダンサー」(Billy Elliot)を皆で視聴し、その後、Movie Review Collectionとして冊子を仕上げました。英語も内容も、素晴らしい作品ばかりで、ここで紹介できないのが本当に残念!

For me the classes were perfect because I learned different ways of writing by revising my paragraphs. I can feel the improvement in my writing. I will try to improve my writing more. I think the best part of this class is that you can improve your grammar and learn how to write different styles of paragraphs properly. 教科書の内容を解くだけではなく、Writingのテーマも旅行、自分の性格、映画の感想など、興味の湧きやすいものだったので書くことが楽しかったです。たくさん間違えても、丁寧に添削してくださったのが嬉しかったです。S.Tさん
一つ一つを分かりやすく教えてくださったので、分かりやすかったです。答えを間違えても先生がうまくフォローしてくださるので気持ちが楽でした。一年生のときよりもずいぶん英文の書き方が上達したと思います。ありがとうございました。
課題は全てパソコンに打ち込んで、先生から指摘された箇所について修正しながら最終原稿を仕上げます。
